HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BODY FOR CLOTHES

Tools: Soft measuring tape

Measuring Tips: Do not hold your breath while measuring and do not pull measuring tape tightly while measuring.

  1. Chest – To measure the circumference of your chest area. Place one end of your soft measuring tape at the fullest part of your chest, wrap the measuring tape around your body, and go under your armpits to get your chest measurement.
  2. Waist – To measure the circumference of your waist area. Wrap your measuring tape above your hip bones. Or you can simply bend to one side to find your natural crease.
  3. Hips – To measure the circumference of your hip area. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks.
  4. Sleeve – To measure the length of your sleeves. Start at the top of your shoulder and down to your wrist.
  5. Inseam To measure your pant inseam. Start at the bottom of your crotch and go down to the top of your foot.
  6. Rise – Measure your pants from the top of the waistband to the bottom the crotch seam to find the rise.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR SHOE SIZE

Tools: Ruler

Measuring Tips: Measure your feet flat on the floor without shoes on. Wear socks if measuring for sneakers. Take both your foot length and width measurements. Always wear comfy shoes. Don’t try to be cute and wear too small or too big shoes.

Foot Length

Step 1: Stand with your heels against a wall for better support. Keep you feet flat on the floor.

Step 2: Lay your ruler flat on the floor and measure from your heel to the tip of your longest toe. For some it’s the big toe and others the second toe.

Step 3: Note your measurements and refer to our shoe size chart.

Foot Width

Step 1: Identify the ball of your foot.

Step 2: Step on your ruler at the widest point.

Step 3: Measure the flat width across the ball of your foot.

Step 4: Note your measurements and refer to our shoe size chart before shopping.
